Mackenzie K. Dalrymple
Mackenzie is starting her legal education at the University of Kansas School of Law. We are excited to assist Mackenzie on her journey through law school. Mackenzie’s essay demonstrates her knowledge, worth ethic, and creativity.

Mackenzie Dalrymple founder of Dalrymple and Associates is a highly qualified family law attorney specializing in all facets of family law cases including: divorce, legal separation, custody, separation of assets, as well as prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, annulments. Mackenzie accepts clients located in the Kansas City and Lawrence metro area who seek assistance oftentimes during the most emotionally challenging time of their lives.
Mackenzie received her Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law [Top 20 law school in the United States] where she graduated in the top 10% of her class. Mackenzie is actively involved in:
- Women in Law @KU Law
- National Association of Women Lawyers
- Black Law Students Association @ KU Law (member of leadership)
- National Conference of Black Lawyers Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association. American Bar Association
- During law school she interned for 2 of the top law firms in the Kansas City area and was also mentored by a Johnson County judge.
Mackenzie is a champion for achievements and leadership opportunities for minorities. Only 26% of all law firms in the US are women-owned, only 11.4% nationally are minority-owned law firms.
Mackenzie has formed authentic connections with many local therapists and medical providers to deliver great resources for her clients. Mackenzie also comes from a family of Real Estate Agents, and has formed long lasting connections with many Realtors to ensure that her clients don’t let the fear of being homeless impact a life altering decision.
Mackenzie uses her personal experience in hopes to connect with her clients with compassion to what they are experiencing while also helping them to connect with the logical legal strategies to help her clients get the best outcomes. She acknowledges the emotional impact (joy or fear) her cases have on the entire family, but will never shy back from representing her client and doing what needs to be done to meet their overall objectives. Divorce and custody battles are an unforeseeable issue and Mackenzie works diligently to help navigate her clients through a trying time.
When not working diligently for her clients, Mackenzie enjoys swimming, coaching, traveling with family or activities with her pets.
Mackenzie also spends some of her free time giving back to her community.
